Sweet Nothings, Part 3

III
I could not be more bare nor bear more shame naked.
I have watched your eyes slideshow flip through
desire, embarrassment, confusion, and contempt. Now
even the spotlight of your pity is radiant.
My fingers trace paths across your thighs like
over a treasure map I once memorized.
Not one of your timid kisses is permissive, but I am reeling,
whispering a plea onto your neck that we exchange
caked stones of nostalgia for glinting fantasy.

Sweet Nothings, Part 2

II
We are eyelashes lost drifting into tall grass.
We are a light bulb in the second before it burns out.
Objectivity is our native tongue, but
we translate touches into ideals and
ideals into projections. Garage-door open
the vault of your experience for me.
Do not hesitate to part your picket-fence teeth.
Hum a harmonious heartbreak with me into this backseat.
Though God will not answer us, we are not so alone.

New Design for glassEyeballs.com

Over the last couple of days, I created a new front page for glassEyeballs.com. It's up now! This should allow more efficient, directed access to the different facets of the site. It's certainly not done yet. Eventually I'd like to make portals specifically for my poetry, and for my music perhaps. But the new site is up. I like it. Let me know what you think.

See it now!
